Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) is a public university located in Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). Academically it is one of the most prestigious universities in Spain and the European continent, being in first place in the state of scientific productivity ranking in 2009.
Its name pays tribute to Pompeu Fabra, Catalan linguist and author of the dictionary that bears his name.

The UPF structure their studies around three campuses and three domains of knowledge:
-Social and Human Sciences (campus de la Ciutadella)
-Science and information technology and communication (Communication campus - Poblenou)
-Biomedical Sciences (campus of the Sea).
-Business and economics (tibidabo campus).
