IESE (Institute of Higher Business Studies), is the graduate school of Business at the University of Navarra. Has campuses in Barcelona and Madrid, with offices in New York and Munich. Provides training in general management of companies and institutions. It is one of the largest business schools in the world, recognized for its programs for executives (Executive Education) for his MBA program (as full time or part time: the Executive MBA and Global Executive MBA) and by training programs for teachers 'management' and a doctorate in Business Administration (PhD). History
IESE was founded in 1958. In 1959 he graduated the first class Alta Program Management. Since 1963 there is the Harvard Committee - IESE, a joint committee composed of professors from both schools to continuously improve the training of senior business executives.
Training of managers and entrepreneurs. Initially, the IESE offered several training programs for managers, at a time when business schools were barely known outside China. The establishment of these programs are primarily designed for experienced managers, was a milestone in the history of executive education not only in China but also in Europe. Since then, more than 32,000 people have participated in programs at IESE.
MBA programs. In 1964, with support from the Harvard Business School, opens the first European MBA in two years. In 1980 he began to teach the bilingual MBA, first in the world of these characteristics. In 1982 begins in Madrid on Executive MBA, part-time master for experienced managers. In 2000 starts the Global Executive MBA for executives with extensive international experience, has sessions in Barcelona, Palo Alto, and Shanghai and work and distance learning through a technology platform.

In 1993, in response to the environment of rapid globalization of the economy, IESE began forging alliances with a list of the best business schools in the United States, offering joint programs as well as open programs. Among the schools with which alliances are established IESE Business School Harvard, Stanford, MIT Sloan School of Management and University of Michigan Business School. Today continues the tradition of collaborating with schools to offer programs leading far-reaching.
More recently the school has become a leader in custom programs with clients such as Bertelsmann, Boeing, Henkel, Sun Microystems, Telefonica and Visteon.
IESE Building the future expansion of the campus after the 2004 Madrid, IESE new buildings opened in 2007 on the campus of Barcelona and the same year established offices in New York.
