The 2008-2010 economic crisis, aggravated by the bursting of the housing bubble, consumption has plummeted, and with it the industrial production has been added to a stagnation of the Catalan economy, despite continuous economic growth the metropolis of Barcelona, he has lost in the last quarter century the economic capital of Spain for Madrid, especially in the financial field.
